Over 70 Years of Textile Excellence
With a proud legacy spanning over seven decades, our story began in 1948 with the visionary leadership of Late A. Ganapathi Chettiar and Late A. Subbaiya Chettiar, who laid the foundation through a cotton ginning enterprise in Tiruppur.
In 1974, Mr. T.A.S. Dhanddabani joined the family business, ushering in a new era of growth and diversification. The company ventured into yarn trading in 1987 and, by 1990, pioneered the introduction of colour mélange yarns in the Tiruppur market.
The year 1992 marked a strategic collaboration with RSWM for melange yarns, further strengthening our position in the industry.
In 1999, we achieved a milestone by becoming the first to introduce Lenzing fibre products to Tiruppur through Rajasthan Textile Mills — setting a new benchmark for fibre innovation in the region.
In 2005, the company achieved another breakthrough with the introduction of Amsler Slub Yarn in Tiruppur in partnership with the Ramco Group of Companies.
Continuing our spirit of innovation, we expanded into knitting with the establishment of Hallmark Knit Division, equipped with state-of-the-art fine gauge knitting technologies. The division specialises in precision-engineered fabrics, premium blends, and next-generation knit developments — reinforcing our commitment to excellence.
Even after more than five decades in business, Mr. Dhanddabani remains actively involved in shaping the company’s future. His resilience, progressive vision, and belief that innovation is not just an act, but a mindset, continue to inspire every individual associated with the organisation.
